A practice built on a controller’s habits.
I am Mandeepsinh Jadeja, a Chartered Accountant in independent practice from an office in Atladara, Vadodara. The work splits roughly in two: statutory compliance for Indian clients, and accounting, tax preparation and finance support for businesses and firms in the United States and Australia.
Before the practice
Most of my career before independent practice was spent in corporate finance controlling inside multinational manufacturers — automotive and energy sector businesses with real volume and real reporting deadlines.
That meant monthly closes to a group calendar, cost centre and product profitability reporting, budget cycles, internal controls, and living inside SAP FI, CO and MM day after day. It also meant explaining numbers to people who were going to act on them.
Practice work is different in scale but not in standard. The habits carried over: reconcile before you report, document what you did, and never hand over a number you cannot walk somebody through.

What the practice runs on
- Accounting — Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks Online, Xero, MYOB and Odoo, including migrations between them.
- Enterprise systems — SAP FI, CO and MM, and SAP BPC for planning and consolidation.
- Reporting and analysis — Power BI, and Excel taken well past where most people stop.
- Compliance portals — the GST, income tax, TRACES and MCA portals, used daily rather than occasionally.
- Automation — purpose-built tools for reconciliation, categorisation and reporting where a repetitive task deserves one.
Where the work happens
The practice runs from an owned office at 612 Shreeji Skyline, Sun Pharma Road, Atladara, Vadodara, with a small trained team. Indian clients are welcome to come in and go through a file across a table; overseas clients work with me over scheduled calls in their own working hours.
Either way the arrangement is the same. You deal with the person doing the work, not with an account manager relaying it.
